SFCLT Receives $631,500 Grant for Affordable Housing in South Florida
Blue Sky Dania: A New Opportunity for Renters to Build Financial Stability
At South Florida Community Land Trust, we believe that stable, affordable housing is just the beginning of a brighter future. That’s why we’re launching Blue Sky Dania, a pilot program designed to help renters in our community take the next steps toward long-term financial security.
Through this initiative, 30 families living in our rental homes will receive personalized support to increase their income, grow their savings, and build lasting financial stability. Participants will have access to one-on-one financial coaching, tailored guidance to help them reach their personal goals, and wrap-around support to address challenges along the way. Beyond financial tools, the program will also foster a sense of community, bringing families together for financial literacy workshops and neighborhood dinner gatherings that encourage shared learning and connection.
This important work is made possible through the generous support of the Community Foundation of Broward, with funding from the Drial Foundation Fund, Bank of America Field of Interest Fund, and The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation Broward Community Fund. Their commitment to supporting South Florida families is helping us create new pathways toward economic resilience.
We look forward to sharing more as Blue Sky Dania takes shape and begins making a difference in the lives of local families. Stay tuned for updates!
